According to their study results, the average successful women shed 11 percent of their body weight by improving both diet and exercising. This reduced their risk of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer, researchers added.
“The truth is that nothing is wrong with losing weight rapidly — as long you do it the right way,” says Michael Dansinger, the medical doctor from NBC’s The Biggest Loser. “In theory, one could drop as much as 20 pounds in a week following a very ambitious eating and exercise plan,” he added.
